introduction to nonlinear optics, second-order nonlinearities, wave propagation
in nonlinear media, second harmonic generation, phase matching, parametric
amplification and oscillation, frequency up-conversion, electro-optic effect,
third order nonlinearities, optical Kerr effect, four wave mixing, stimulated
processes,phase conjugation, spatial and temporal solitons, vector and composite
solitons,photorefractive nonlinear optics,holographic data storage.
