Continuum, properties of fluids, stress, shear and pressure. Hydrostaties.
Kinematics, description of motion, streamlines. Integral continuity and momentum
equations. Newtonian fluids, Navier-Stokes equations and boundary conditions.
Flow far from a body: Eular equation. Bernoulli's equation, lift.
Flow near a surface: boundary layer eqns, shear, drag, similarity laws.
Turbulent flow: pipe flow, turbulent boundary layer, correlations, forces on bodies.
One-dimensional compressible flow: nozzles, shock wave. Fanno and Rayleigh lines.
